Rabbi Jon Kleinman is currently Chaplain a VITAS Healthcare.
“Through serving as a chaplain, organizing and running communal events, and building relationships between families and institutions, I have found that God is a source of compassion and hope. I seek to inspire individuals I work with to embrace their faith and the many forms of comfort it can bring.”
Previously, Rabbi Kleinman served in the faculty at Gratz College in Cherry Hill, NJ, creating and teaching comparative religions curriculum. Rabbi Kleinman also served as a chaplain resident at the University of Pennsylvannia Hospital in Philadelphia, as Jewish Outreach Specialist for the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, and as Holocaust Curriculum Specialist for the Bureau of Jewish Education Indianapolis.
